MEAT Recordings is back with a digital compilation of seven pret-a-dancer techno tracks featuring the label’s trademark sound and beyond. For the 15th release in the history of the Viennese imprint Gerald VDH selected seven tunes by some of his favourite Austrian and German producers. Aida Arko, Black Lotus, Gerald VDH, Matt Mor, Scirox, Specific Objects and Verschwender (in alphabetical order, and in order of appearance) each present some of their strongest work to date, ranging from dark to uplifting, from playful to pounding and from educated to big room. Aida’s track “Subatomic” already received early and enthusiastic support by Amelie Lens, who featured the track in her BBC Radio 1 Residency show.
